Durable, Handcrafted Saddles
Since 1972, Ballard's Saddles and Tack  has been designing and producing original, handcrafted, long lasting saddles with a unique style and flair. Our saddles are designed for the professional horse rider—someone who rides everyday and needs a rugged, durable saddle.

All of our saddles are handmade, hand tooled, with a wooden rawhide wrapped tree.  Best of all the tree comes with a lifetime guarentee.

A Ballard's saddle is ideal for flat back horses, draft horses, quarter horses, walking horses, and mules. Tom Ballard, the owner of Ballard's Saddle, Tack, Boots & Western Wear, is serious about his products and is proud of his saddles and how long they last.

Customer Testimonials:

Hello,

I have several of your saddles and refer people to your store at every opportunity.  I found your store one day about ten years ago looking through the Horse Trader.  I had a wide backed horse and had tried many saddles to fit my boy.  When I found your add that touted saddles for the wide backed horse, I got in the truck and drove from San Diego.  I was in heaven.  Beautiful saddles, great prices, great sales people, and the ability to custom design my wide saddle.  Lately I noticed your advertisements and the difficulty you seem to be feeling with the new consignment stores coming to town.  The advertisements that ran saddened me.  The shop girls said you would be pulling out for a while.  This also saddened me as I know there are many people who are on the great search for a saddle to fit their hard to fit wide backed horse...and your product is just the right thing for them.  I know that commentary can sometimes come off wrong...but I send this with all the belief in the world in your saddles.  I hope that you will bring back the ads and focus on the true reason you started making those great saddles.  I believe if you can focus on the product and how great it is you will have the other stores beat.  Sing loudly....

 One of your biggest fans,

 Jeannine

 P.S. Gods blessings

Hi guys,
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how irritated I am when I hear people say negative things about your saddles!  I am a trainer/broker here in Norco and the Ballard's saddle I use is awesome.  It is three years old and has been used on many sizes, shapes and breeds of horses.  It has taken me MANY miles, never pinched a horse's withers or left a sore and has MANY more miles left on it.  So, I would like to suggest to all the people having problems, that they bring their horse to you and have it "Proffessionally Fitted"!  A friend of mine has two Ballard's saddles and feels the same.  I'm sure you will be hearing from her soon.
Regards,
Sheryle Forster
Broker/Trainer
